Kino, currently one of the dj residents of the Phonoteque club in Montevideo-Uruguay, is always and above all an inexorable seeker of music and a passionate record collector. Far away from the tendencies and from common areas, he’s interested in searching the depths bringing to light what was hidden for a new meaning. Inspired by the spontaneous and impermanence of each moment and each place, his sets invite you to travel different roads and states without losing direction or sense. Ally of the details and the unexpected, he manages to generate without doubts an own identity.

A creative circle of weirdos who love the night a little too much. Electro shock included.
Alien Sex Friends is a creative circle of night-loving friends: everything club culture generates, put into practice. The embodiment of Tokyo’s club scene in the 2020s. The flagship night at Shibuya’s MITSUKI, it founded the vinyl label A.S.F.RECS in 2023 (its first vinyl arriving in 2024) and since 2025 has hosted its namesake night A.S.F. at WOMB, Japan’s largest club.
At its core are two DJs, P-YAN and RYOKEI, who for over fifteen years have carried special nights to devoted music lovers, from local clubs to international festivals. The scene that raised them runs from Shibuya to Nishiazabu (WOMB, OATH, Eleven, UNIT, Dommune), a lineage in conversation with Detroit, Berlin and London, and in recent years with Uruguay. Through the 2000s and 2010s its center of gravity was Berlin; while a purist ethos still held out against commercialism, the two moved there. What they absorbed then, and the mood of Tokyo in 2025, is what fills their record bags.

The popular party Alien Sex Friends, held every even month at Shibuya’s Mitsuki, launches its label A.S.F.RECS.
Played by DJ Masda, Kabuto, and Wada Yosuke.
A1 – An electro-techno track by Takashi Himeoka, who has been dropping standout releases on numerous respected labels both in Japan and abroad. Bouncy beats paired with voice samples that cut in subliminally and hit with precision.
A2 – Driven hard by a sharp, acid-tinged melody line.
On the B-side, the unit A.S.F.RECS (Alien Sex Friends residents P-YAN and Ryokei joined by Takashi Himeoka) opens with B1 — a proper banger built around a distinctive melody and a really nice development after the break.
B2 moves deep with electro-like beats.
B3 features Takashi Himeoka’s downtempo remix of a track by the rising Japanese artist Kaoruko, cooked up with jazzy drums.
Mastered by Ryosuke Tsuchiya, the sound engineer who also shapes the sound at Alien Sex Friends parties.
